A Fine Morning Brunch at Good Morning Hotel, Trivandrum – A Review

There’s something truly special about spending a morning with cousins, savoring great food, laughter, and stories. Recently, we found ourselves at Good Morning Hotel in Trivandrum, a gem that’s all about soulful, authentic Kerala flavors. This morning wasn’t just breakfast — it was an experience to remember.


Now, I’m usually not one for parotta and beef, but this place made me a believer! The parottas were impossibly soft, with those perfect, flaky layers, and the beef curry was tender, rich, and loaded with spices. Every bite challenged my usual preferences in the best way possible.


But then, came the showstoppers: idiyappam paired with their incredible beef fry. The idiyappam was light and soft, soaking up the bold, spicy flavors of the beef fry like a dream. Each bite was an explosion of taste, and before we knew it, our plates were empty! And, of course, we couldn’t miss their Kattan Chaya (black tea) — strong, perfectly brewed, and the ultimate ending to this indulgent meal.


This was more than just breakfast; it was brunch with a capital B! We ate so heartily that we skipped meals the entire day just to let it all settle. If you’re in Trivandrum, Good Morning Hotel is a must-visit for any true food lover.
