Here's a Tiramisu recipe without liqueur:
Ingredients:
For the Coffee Mixture:
- 1 cup (240 ml) brewed strong coffee, cooled
- 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
For the Cream:
- 1 package (8 ounces or 225g) mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For Assembly:
- 24-30 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
- Chocolate shavings or grated chocolate for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
1. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and 1-2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust the sugar to your taste). Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them too long, as they can become soggy.
6. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in your serving dish. You can use a trifle dish, glass dish, or individual serving glasses.
7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
8. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture.
9. Finish by spreading the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
10. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 2-3 hours, or until it's set.
11. Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings or grated chocolate if desired.
12. Enjoy your Tiramisu!
