What could be better and a healthier version than a homemade version of KFC™ fried chicken to satisy our craving. Homemade version is much more tasty too as we make them using fresh chicken and ingredients.
This is a very quick and simple recipe
with a flavorful combination of dry herbs and the ingredients you already have in your pantry. This is combined with flour and little oats to create that savory crunch you crave. After that, it doesn’t get any easier than dipping the chicken and frying it up in hot oil.

Ingredients
Chicken pieces - 4 to 6 nos
Egg - 1
Mixed herbs (any dry herbs) - 1 tsp
Crushed Garlic - 1 tbsp
Oats (optional ) - 2 tbsp
Cornflour or maida - 1 or 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying.
Wheat flour or white flour for coating

Method
Wash the chicken pieces in running water very well and gently mix the ingredients mentioned above with chicken pieces.
Heat oil in a pan. Coat the marinated chicken piece in wheat flour or maida till chicken pieces are fully covered on all the sides. Once the oil is hot, keep the flame in moderate and place the coated chicken pieces in oil and deep fry them in medium heat until done.
Strain the fried chicken pieces in a tissue paper and enjoy the crunchy and crispy chicken fry with sauce or dips of your choice.
