Here's a delightful recipe for Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce:

Ingredients:

For the Grilled Fish:

  • 4 fish fillets (such as salmon, trout, or tilapia)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced (for garnish)

  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or dill) for garnish (optional)

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

For the Grilled Fish:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. Brush the fish fillets on both sides with olive oil and season them generously with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the fish fillets on the preheated grill. Grill the fish for about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has a nice grill mark.

  4. While grilling, you can add a few lemon slices directly onto the grill grates to get a bit of smoky, grilled lemon flavor. Grill them for 1-2 minutes per side until they have grill marks.

  5. Once the fish is cooked, transfer it to a serving platter and garnish with grilled lemon slices and fresh herbs if desired.

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

  3. Stir in the lemon zest and juice, and fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until it thickens slightly and all the flavors are well combined.

To Serve:

Pour the lemon butter sauce over the grilled fish fillets just before serving. You can also serve it with a side of steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Enjoy your grilled fish with lemon butter sauce – it's a burst of fresh, vibrant flavors that's perfect for any occasion! 🍋🐟✨
