Outer Shell

Walnuts are edible seeds. During the Byzantine era, the walnut was also known by the name "royal nut".

Walnut skin sometimes has a slightly bitter flavor, but the nut itself is mild, earthy, and a little tangy.





Inner Seed

Walnut are an exceptionally nutritious nut as they have more healthy omega-3 fats than any other common nut.

Its Antioxidant properties make them an energy dense and high calorie food.

Best to include when you're on diet.

Walnuts can be eaten raw or toasted. However it is highly beneficial when soaked in water for 8-10 hrs and consumed during the day.



Health Benefits:

  1. Walnuts help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and decrease blood pressure both related to heart diseases.

  2. Good for the brain , memory and nervous system. As it strengthens memory against deterioration in brain function and age.

Just have 2-3 nuts in a day.
